Cross-flow ultrafiltration

A high-quality protein should contain only the desired substances; the remainder should be filtered out. We use the complex process of cross-flow ultrafiltration. Like many scientific discoveries, this filtration principle was inspired by nature: the fine pores of the filter membranes are the same size as the pores of human cell membranes. They primarily allow valuable nutrients to pass through, while most unwanted substances are filtered out. Cross-flow ultrafiltration systems work on the same principle. This makes it our preferred filtration process at Viptamin, particularly for producing Bio Protein.

Cold processing

Our Bio Protein is also cold processed. Proteins are sensitive to heat. High temperatures destroy valuable amino acids and peptides. The three-dimensional molecules fold and become indigestible. Gentle cold processing preserves their natural structures.
